Default zzzz....

As some of you have probably noticed, things have been a bit slow around here lately -- at least in terms of announcements from me. Among other things, I'm working on an art installation for a show in santa fe (http://www.currentsnewmedia.org/currents2012.html). The show opens in about two weeks and I'm deep in the 'construction' phase, so things will be slow for a bit longer...

Cheers,
Jim

Best of luck with the installation! If you post a video on YouTube, please provide a link. I would love to see your work in other areas.

Can you give us a preview of what we might expect in Numerology v.3.3 later this summer? I'm still hoping for midi import capability, multiple Launchpad option, and iPad support.

I guess those of you that got onbord relativly recently must feel that development has been way slow this last many months. I've been using the Numerology program off and on for about 2 1/2 years now and the pace of development for most of that time was breakneck to say the least...

I'm also noting that the other software that I use has reached such a developed state that it gets harder and harder and more time consuming to break new ground and create palipable improvemnets, NI's maschine seems somewhat stuck on several key improvements. Improvments that users have been asking for almost from it's release. U-he's Diva is another example of a developer getting caught in a success the product needed work to optimize CPU usage, enable multithreading and work the last out bugs. These improvements have basically swamped U-he and co with so much work that many things ealier promised for release around now, have been put on hold...

Just a few thoughts as I begin firing up the old Numerology after my own rest from the program.

Regards

Wade

Don't worry, I'm here... just responding a little slower than usual. And yes, there is a build due...

Cheers,
Jim
