Default Mister Mops (work in progress)

Still waiting on my Maschine to add drums. But I figured I've been here too long to have not posted anything.

Only two instruments, two instances of Binaural Beats Generator 5 with notes generated using Kirnu and Numerology and a very heavily processed electric piano from UVI Workstation using ReaFIR FFT equalizer, KingDubby, TAL Reverb 2 and with notes generated using discreet sequencing techniques in N3.

Everything done within Reaper 4.02, Numerology as a VST.

Will update as it develops into something more finished.

Default Sweet spoons

Nice light sound, great rythmic lift. Sound bed for a drive through the countryside, on a bike with someone ya like..

Yeah, I'm really enjoying this. I imagine a solo or maybe duo bike ride through an isolated, winding country road with early morning smoky mist all around. You say this is a work in progress. Do you have any ideas on where to go from here? Looking forward to hearing more. Thanks!

I'm thinking some very, very light jazzy, brushy drums, maybe some variation in the plucky lead. Not a whole lot more though, I don't want to bog it down. Any suggestions?

I like the idea of keeping is sparse. The levels seem perhaps a little low, so maybe increasing that a bit. What really would be awesome would be if you added video to this. It's really cinematic sounding in my opinion. Shooting this up on Vimeo or YouTube with some abstract images/animation, or really anything, would be really cool.

very nice lullaby. some thoughts i have.

don't add traditional drums, you'll lose it's innocence. a subtle rhythmic track could add some sense of dynamics but it'll be a fairly fine line to balance and you'll risk losing what makes this good.

on the other hand, field recordings may be the way to go. can totally evolve the sound & mood you have farther while providing a much more dynamic range sonically as well as emotionally.

Drums are definitely not the way to go here. It's missing something, though I am unsure what. I'll try some ambience... this thing is getting frustrating and had to set aside for a bit, nothing I try seems to work :/

I fixed the levels already.
