Default What do you think?

I do use Spectrasonics products since long time and I am planning to buy a super Mac Mini 2018 soon. Now, this unit will have the i7 cpu inside , of course. I will choose a 512 GB flash drive inside also. I will add external storage for the libraries. Now, I am not a pro and I do have fun creating music for myself. I hesitate between 16 or 32 GB of ram? Digital Performer 9.5 would be my daw and I do use Numerology Pro and Native Instruments Komplete 11 Ultimate.

16 or 32 ?

Have a good day all!

Of course I would like to know when we will have Numerology Pro 5 ;-)

I've been running DP 9 on a macbook pro that has an i7 and 16GB RAM. It runs fine.

However, I've not really pushed into the limits of high track counts and lots of sample libraries running. I use Kontakt, but don't have the rest of the NI suite of VIs.

There was a time when people would always advise: "Get as much RAM as you can afford. You won't regret it." And I think the idea was that you would "future-proof" your computer. I suppose that's still true.
