I can wait . . . a little longer. After all, we are talking about saving my life. Without drag 'n drop I fear the end is near . . .

A quick clarification -- Yes, the Ohm RBG will support everything the Launchpad does -- there's just an extra 'menu' page between 'rack nav' and any specific 'rack edit' page. It may sound a bit onerous, but you get used to it quickly...

Jim

Those are of the 'S' variety -- they are brighter and the greens are a bit 'blue-er' -- plus they are on a different page (MonoNote Edit). They don't really look all that different in person, but they are different enough that I try to keep the 'S's paired up separately from the older ones.

Curious about this preset auto-assignment. It'll auto increment note numbers (letters, program changes?) based on the first one? If so, very cool.

For the way I work, it would be great to have a global setting or something something like a library or assignment range presets.

I mean, I regularly re-use the same 16 to 32 (or 48 or 64!) range of notes to switch/play presets all the time I just switch MIDI channels. After using those up if I got a message to switch MIDI channels and/or start a new stack and loop back to the first note of the cycle it'd be neat. Or if we could select a whole block and re-channelize it.

My point I guess, is that I often have the preset control assignment figured out before I know what'll be in them! And Numerology is so great for coming up with variations, it's easy to make (almost) too many presets to handle.

As an aside, I use MPCs, but chunking the launchpad into 4 quadrants (+ sub 4 banks) of 16 to control 4 stacks at a time is pretty productive or at least easier for my stupid brain to keep track of than columns...

Logic X made rewire optional....I'd love to see the same thing in Numerology 4. For me, rewire is/was a pain, but I guess now that Logic doesn't make itself the master it's less of an issue...

Anyway...When will the the pre-ordering start!

Lets get this party started. I stop in every couple of days hoping to see a "buy it now" button. Very excited for all the new stuff Jim.

Gettin' closer all the time. I'm very tempted to put up a 'shooting for public beta by X' note, but I always miss dates, so better to just to keep it a bit vague for now. I've just about finished with some ReWire/DP8 bugs, and a big internals update for OSC support. Look for a big posting w/ updates on OSC & the new RemoteController Setup dialog next week...

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim, I've been doing some hacking on Push myself, and in the process I documented some of the colors available. You may find this of use: https://gist.github.com/adamjmurray/...ae1f2ef8c66a19

There's a fairly consistent pattern until value 60, and then it became seemingly chaotic (with random repeat colors, as far as I could tell), so I stopped trying to figure it out after color value 60.

The simplified color list is what I've been using to maintain good contrast for "Push applications": https://gist.github.com/adamjmurray/...930305b315c48a

Best,
Adam

will push work together with a launchpad or multiple launchpads
i need multiple grids
having an hsync option on a grid work be great when there are multiple grids

one of the things i like to do is to record the midi output in live while i casn various parameters in n3
clicking to change hsync, skip notes and pattern length would be really powerful
