Default Crazy CPU load in Live

Greetings from London

I have a problem with with the Numerology VST plug in using Ableton Live.
I have a Novation Bass Station external synth. When I insert the Numerology VST plug in and twiddle (technical term) the Frequency knob I notice that the CPU load meter in Live goes up to about 11/ - 13%. It drops back to 2% when twiddling is stopped. Other knobs have the same effect but Frequency is the main knob I twiddle.
If I delete the plug in everything acts as normal.
Rather strangely as well, even if I turn off the Bass Station inputs and outputs in Live’s midi preferences this CPU load still occurs.
I only noticed tall of his the other day when I was using 5 Numerology VST plug ins. Loads of distortion and CPU metering off the scale. Any ideas?

Robert

Default Crazy CPU also happens in Logic

High CPU using the standard AU. Things seem normal using the Midi AU

Latest version of Numerology installed and still getting the cpu overload. I created a new user just in case it was something in my settings that was causing the problem but that made no difference.
Any ideas or suggestions?

The next time it happens, use the 'mail' button on the plugin UI to report a bug -- that will upload a log file that may indicate the issue. If not, I'll get you a debug build...
