Default Super basic starter primer?

I just downloaded the demo for Numerology. I have always used hardware and have virtually no experience whatsoever with software sequencing.

I have been tinkering with Numerology for about an hour, and still havent even been able to figure out how to assign a midi channel to a sequencer that I have running.

Could any of you help me out with a super-basic primer?

My laptop is hooked up to a MOTU Micro Express, going to a Roland JP-08 and Korg Volca Beats.

I have a mono note sequencer running with a basic pattern. My JP-08 is set to receive MIDI on channel 5. My MOTO box shows that it is not receiving any MIDI data at the moment.

You have a small triangle button at the bottom of the Monoseq, click it !

Alternatively, you have a Midi filter module if needed for non native module...

Enjoy !

Default Primer/Tutorials/Docs

The Video link above takes you to some tutorials which might be helpful.

Numerology is a very frequently updated piece of software with one of the most dedicated and brilliant developers there is.

I'm curious how often he finds time to go through the included documentation to keep it current with the latest release.
