Question Automating Goodhertz plugins?

[NOTE: reposted from orig. Gearslutz thread]

I love these guys' plugins, I really do.
They shine in the most standard applications and can really be pushed into full creative mode.
However I'm having an issue with modulation.
I'm using Numerology's built-in modulation sequencers and patching them to some specific Goodhertz parameters, e.g. MidSide's stereo width control.
The issue is that whatever control range I'm using keeps the plugin's control pegged at zero even If I manually move the value of the plugin's value for this parameter.
Other parameters seem to modulate fine.
Any ideas how to approach this issue? (maybe the Goodhertz fellas hang around here, who knows)

From Goodhertz' site this is what I found...

Quote:
This is not true for Goodhertz plugins. Any parameter in a Goodhertz plugin, even on/off switches, can be automated freely and smoothly without clicks, pops, or zipper noises (unless otherwise noted). You can push them, pull them, LFO them — whatever you do, they’ll handle it gracefully. If a parameter can’t be smoothly automated, we’ll let you know with the [lightening bolt] symbol.
Cheers

Paul

Happy Goodhertz owenr here as well, which one are you trying to automate?
I can give it a try with Trem, Vulf and Faraday.
I've reported some similar bugs with Reaper and Live to Dev, and I'm pretty sure he's working on it. Have you sent them a bug report yet?

Hiya... I'm currently doing Tiltshift + MidSide. It looks like they've scaled 1:1 the frequency range with 200Hz being, say, 200 and 10Khz being 10'000. So If I'm trying to use the same N4 CV modulator sequencer to modulate a frequency range and a gain level, one of the two will be totally out of whack.
But yes, I'm going to write to them directly as well.
Thx
Paul

This sounds like a parameter bounds issue -- i.e. Numerology is not using the correct min & max values. I've emailed Goodhertz for a test copy...

Cheers,
Jim
