I'm loving this program... I've never used a UPIC before but I'm sure this does a lot more. There is nothing out there like this!

Don't forget MetaSynth
It's a kind of "big brother" of HighC, a very powerful tool, indeed.
But, yes, HighC is a good and cheaper alternative to MetaSynth .... I love this program too .... Very strange sounds can be generated by this method.
